ORA (Orée) — rim, border, coast, bank, shore, passage, threshold, limit.

ORA (Orée) it is the threshold between different times and spaces. The performance is a research on the « space between »: between active and passive, human and non-human, natural and artificial, the dream and the machine, shadow and light. It is built as a crossing from black to the colour, playing with the superposition and the simultaneity of a palette of images and various states that coexist, such as in a dream.
The trio – Daphné Koutsafti, Marcos Simões and Vania Vaneau herself – is completed by a multiplicity of figures, shadows and reflections that build up landscapes and imaginations continually transforming.
With ORA (Orée), Vania Vaneau creates a continuity between psychological, organic and material, by making ephemeral fictions. She continues thus her choreographic exploration, made of a sensory and full of imagery plasticity. The bodies are related to the matter that acts then as filter, echo or pass-through, becoming as active as the performers.
