Premiere  2012

Abscisse is about vertical and horizontal lines. It is about elevation and overthrow. It is inspired by the cycle of life, by the continuous demolition and renewal of life. For this show we bring into play three performers, three aluminium leaders, ropes and few wooden pieces.

This construction is based on tensegrity (term coined by R. Buckminster Fuller). Tensegrity is a structural principle based on the use of isolated components in compression inside a net of continuous tension. Increased lightness and stability are the characteristics of such structures.
